Big Mahi and Wahoo!

Just outside the reef has been going off this week. In 200-400 feet of water (about a mile from shore) the dolphin and wahoo are biting. Lots of wahoo in the 25-35 pound range are here as well as some mahi mahi. The mahi this week have been huge on our boat with several over 30 pounds and an estimated 50 pounder. The reef has been unusually slow for the kingfish lately but this more than makes up for it. Maybe next week we will get some more trophy hunters- this is our passion!
