South florida sportfishing November 1-7th

South Florida Sportfishing is going off!
First off let me tell you the Lobster are walking again. Get down to the beach and snokel into about the 8 foot range. Wearing some gloves dive down and pick the tasty critters up.
As for fishing. Ww got out a few trips and found that the groupers are biting anything you throw at them. Usually a west coast fishing experience we have been filling the box with them all week. Mahi mahi have been offshore in about 800 feet of water and they are a lot of fun. The water has been a little too dirty, what with everyones roof tops floating around with their trees. needless to say the kings have been scarce on the reef.

Fort Lauderdale and palm beach fishing Nov 8-15th

We had the Zensen family out and caught Dorothys first fish! A whopping 27" spanish mackerel. Nice job Doro! Fishing is about the same as last week with dolphin (mahi mahi) out deep and a little slow on the reef. A few kings have shown up but most of our time has been spent a few miles out loading up on dolphin. We caught a dozen nice ones that needed the gaff to get them over the side on saturday and lots of others all week.

Finally. Power came back on on the 17th. Time for a cold one.
Offshore we had several good trips including one with 30 dolphin and some small blackfin tunas. We caught a couple of nice sharks this week too. Its time the big golden hammerheads will be showing up on the reef and making some exciting trips happen. Kingfish have been sporadic on the reef but hardly missed. Fronts are coming with hot sailfish action sure to be with them!

Welcome back George and Mike Santangelo! Nice work on that sailfish! While we are at it- good to see you Sergio, Chelsea, and Linda! Cool Barracuda! Fishing Has been decent this week with a few sweet catches. It has also had some slower days. We are still between fronts but looks like next week will be going off! Come and get it
