| 1ST-5TH SQUALLS OUT ON THE GULFSTREAM
The beginning of June dampened our spirits as well as our shirts with a tropical storm raging close to our shore line. An unfortunate reminder that this is hurricane season and its shaping up to be a deusy. We did manage to get a few trips out this weekend, despite the foul weather and landed a few dolphinfish and kings all on the reef outside Hillsboro Inlet in Lighthouse Point. 6th-12th Tropical Storm Arleen!
We managed to get out 3 times this week but Arleen is having her way with us. She is tearing through the Gulf bringing onshore winds and rough seas on our side. For the hardy bonitos and kings are bending the rods non-stop! So come on out for your own rockin' hurricane party! Hurricane- dark rum to taste passion fruit juice to taste splash lime juice splash grenadine for color pinch ultra refined sugar
shake on ice and go baby! 13th-19th Big Bull Shark Bonanza!
The Bull sharks continue to bite like crazy on the reef. They are probably feeding on the piles of kingfish and bonitos that are also feeding big in the area. No problem keeping the rod bent over this week! Eric from trophy quest got a good sample of the action. 20th-26th All full up!
Squeezed 13 trips in this week. The Dolphin are biting offshore, you just have to put a little time in finding them. We caught a few bull sharks on the reef and kingfishing has been consistent too. A few kings are tipping the scales over 25lbs. There are also some big breeder barracudas haunting any good shallow structure. 27th-30th
Lyn from expertech caught a nice sailfish as we continue to stay busy and wrack up huge numbers of bonitos and kings in the reef about 125 foot deep. Get um'1 Select another page || Go to Home Page |
