Hurray for MAY!!!

One of our favorites

There is a saying; "April and May shark fish every day!"
Of course not everyone is looking for a big trophy shark but if you think this sounds good it is the timwe to target them. This is the month they migrate through like crazy! Its the biggest quarry of the year and an awsome adventure! Plenty of other action this month too.

1st-8th Tuna and monsters

Blackfin tuna are biting as Jack and Steve found out Tuesday and the Stuck at the Bridge boys on Wednesday. Michael Friedman slammed the kings and caught a giant golden hammerhead. we thought we had another giant shark friday for Jimmy listiandello and crew but after a two hour fight a 400lb stingray came up from the deep. Cool looking ancient monster. Saturday saw big dolphin and some kingfish for Vincent Parker.

9TH-15TH WORL OF ADVENTURE

Trophy Quest joined us this week to film Tire Kingdoms World of Adventure, a sport fishing telivision show to air late July on FSN and CSS. Such a blast it was to work with John, Steve and Russ cathing mahi mahi, sharks, big kingfish and many other species, everyone who is into fishing should check the series out. Later in the week it was buisness as usual, sport fishing her in southern Florida. Big Bull sharks have shown up in shallow water off the coast for Delray Beach to Ft. Lauderdale, making it hazardous to swimmers but great fishing for the trophy hunters, such as the boys from Blue Cross. The weekend was busy and the fishing great with big kings and mahi mahi showing up on the reef. The real treat however was watching Trey on our Saturday afternoon charter land his first wahoo, a nice twenty pounder.

16th-22nd Our new T-Shirts are in!

The shark we caught for Bob and Linda was awsome, and a cobia too. Nice way to start the week. Tuesday was special too and we got a nice trophy Barracuda for lee at the resort. You should see the teeth this one had. On Wednesday the kingfish cooperated but not the Sharks. The rest of the week was very busy for us and we caught a mix of blackfin tuna, some big dolphin and a bunch of groupwer and snapper on the bottom. These good eating fish seem to be in and right at the end of the week some sailfish showed up and the boys from WWF had three on to wind up Sunday. Tight Lines!

23RD-31ST SHARKS, JACKS & SAILS!??

Late May, the air is getting warmer, down right hot some days. The wind is almost always west, the seas calm, big sharks and jacks abound and sailfishing is a mere heat induced daydream of things to come months from now when the air turns cold and the seas choppy. Or is it? With the success of modern conservation techniques, Summer Sails, as we call them, are becoming more and more common. This in turn makes kite fishing with live baits a very common site in May. This was great news for K.C. and Debra Monday afternoon when they landed a beautiful 88 incher about seventy pounds. Due to the phenomenon of Summer Sailfish, the Crowd Pleaser has perfeceted a style of fishing to encompass sharking and sailfishing at the same time, which proved itself a success yet again Wednesday for the State Farm boys who landed both a nice hammerhead and sailfish, as well as a handfull of kings, all in a mere half day trip. May isn't just great for trophy fish, however, its also a goof month to catch some table fare. This week Ed Gutherie landed some nice dolphin fish and snapper. During the weekend, Gary Krafnnovs group from Delray did well on the mahi and kings.
